A beautiful video from Ernestos. It looks so peaceful doesn't it? But Syria is still at a dangerous time and we are very worried. Fighting and civil unrest is once again threatening our existence. Food for the cats and humans is doubled in price, while our donations have dropped dramatically - with many monthly donations being cancelled. Just because the regime has gone, it doesn't mean Syria is safe. It doesn't mean Ernestos doesn't still need your help. We are a very small organisation that relies on the generosity of donors. Big van from Aleppo arrived yesterday evening at Ernesto’s free vet clinic, full of cats to be treated and a donkey that needed an x-ray and urgent care. Tomorrow we return to Aleppo with our mobile ambulance to treat the animals, and we are considering going around all the Syrian provinces because we are receiving requests for help. dry food was something prohibitive for the animals, now we want to be able to distribute some first aid for these animals, they too are very affected by the situation, we need help to have large quantities, last month we were on alert because we had suspected what happened and therefore we had asked you for help to increase our reserves. well as you can see providence has been very helpful, and thanks to those reserves we were able to help Aleppo this week, but our reserves were limited for our animals, so we need to do it again, what we can ask our friends is to report our organization to the big organizations that help animals and ask them to support us, in these years we have always had a great reputation and collaboration with anyone who has helped us, providing documentation and receipts. This morning in Aleppo .. In the meantime when we were in Aleppo our vet clinic in Idlib was damaged because of bombs near it .. at last we were lucky to be in mission in Aleppo .

Ernesto’s sanctuary was born in Aleppo 9 years ago, and today we went back to Aleppo to help this American lady and another animal shelter that is in the middle of the fighting. We took away with their permission the animals that were injured, we brought the aid that we could with our budget and we came back! Here in Syria we will not eat the cake tonight to celebrate the ninth year because we are physically and emotionally very tired. We invite you celebrate for us because it is above all your presence that counts. And if you can please help us to continue our help .
