With new rules being added or changed on a whim on the птах app it's hard for a simple aspiring Ukrainian learner to know how to find interesting people to follow. It's not even clear we're allowed to mention слон! Anyway, you might find me here.

Sarah farms! Two bottle gourd seeds, one decorative gourd, one apple seed I found in an apple last night, and a bowl of mint. Additional gourd seeds might sprout; they're in the blue container. Later, will plant on the balcony!

Telescope parts this morning vs yesterday. Making progress on the necessary 3D printing. Cat approved!

Update on the telescope project. STILL not finished yet. But getting there.

Monday: first day back to work, plus I took out four bags of holiday break trash.
Tuesday: first sick day of 2026. Nurse Cat is monitoring my condition.
Four bags was perhaps overly optimistic of me.

Tube sections for the Hadley telescope I’m building. It will take another day or two to print the rest of the pieces. Hardware and optics should arrive today and tomorrow.
So… guess I’m building a telescope, then.
