Thanks for covering this! 💚 It's part of a wider conversation about breaking through unfair commodity prices to understand the true value of people in the first mile. It's also about shoppers looking out for brand transparency (and not just a luxury price for premium packaging).
A crop of young brands want us to know what good olive oil tastes like. They also want us to pay quite a bit more than we might be used to for it.. For @thingtesting_, I took a look at why fancy direct-to-consumer olive oil comes with a fancy price tag: thingtesting.com/stories/oli…

"Olive oil doesn’t have to taste bland — but to bring oils that pop to the masses will require meticulous sourcing, better deals for farmers, and for consumers to understand that it’s actually worth paying a bit more." Thanks for featuring Citizens of Soil!💚 #EVOO #oliveoil
Since Brightland's debut, a number of new olive oil concepts have hit the market offering high quality oils from individual farms. Meet 9 modern brands selling olive oil online. 🫒 thingtesting.com/stories/oli…

"Olive oil and wine have more in common than you'd think. And while wine is often gifted, olive oil makes for a more surprising, and longer lasting, gift." — Exactly 🙌thefloopapp.com/post/9-thoug… #giftideas #Foodies #ethicalchristmas

How can I get in touch with @GoogleAds / @GoogleAdManager? Emailing their "support" for MONTHS and they won't even respond. They offered our #smallbiz a promo and then took it away. Won't even acknowledge a thread of emails. Tried to call and the sales guy was rude. #googleads
Thank you @WeAreGramersi (special shout-out to @ReyMillet 💚) for sharing a bit about our mission to make fair, sustainable and flavourful extra virgin olive oil the norm. 🙌 #evoo #terroir #foodanddrink #purpose gramersi.com/2021/08/18/citi…

We've had the rise of the artisans in coffee, chocolate, beer and wine. But what about olive oil, salt, vinegar, flour etc...? Citizens of Soil want to address this starting with single estate extra virgin olive oil -> retailinsider.com/2021/08/ma…

Great piece by @TheDrum highlighting the @wfamarketers new #PlanetPledge, unveiled at #GMW2021. "We are in an era of ’show me, don’t tell me’. The more you act, even in a small way, the better. People want to know what you are doing now, not in five years.” – CMO at @Danone
🔍 Just 10% of marketers are ‘well advanced’ in their sustainability journey, according to @wfamarketers research in @TheDrum today. 📰 Last week, @jessibaker wrote about the challenge CMOs face in tackling the climate crisis. 👇 Tap below to read. forbes.com/sites/jessibaker/…
🌟"Build your messaging on facts and proof: It might be tempting to ‘polish’ the story of your environmental impact with exaggerated claims or even unofficial ‘green’ logos on your packaging. Don’t do it."🌟 #CMO #marketing #PR

Just had a good conversation with the Prime Minister. He has assured me that he is committed to correcting the issue with the food hampers and that a full review of the supply chain is taking place. He agrees that images of hampers being shared on Twitter are unacceptable.

📣 Our most popular blog from the end of last year… 🔎 It’s becoming more common to see sustainability claims front and centre in brand campaigns, but let’s address what’s missing in many of them – proof. 🔎 #marketingtips #brandstrategy #greenwashing bit.ly/3haYto7

Then imagine we expect the children to engage in learning from home. Not to mention the parents who, at times, have to teach them who probably haven’t eaten at all so their children can... We MUST do better. This is 2021
