I have found another wonderful use for the wrappers from @WhoGivesACrapTP loo rolls plus the middles! You can make really quick Christmas crackers. Collecting some up to do this year. I already have the snaps. Follow me for more hints and tips! Completed cracker photos to follow.

So @ThreeUK why is that you have disconnected my phone number? All I was doing was helping my daughter to purchase a new phone as hers was lost/stolen in Spain. You now are treating me as if I don't exist!

This is spooky! Listening to @themonkeycage about coincidences. Also describing a recipe to friends in my facebook group. The word 'coriander' was broadcast just as I was writing it on facebook!

There was a story on the @BBCPM programme which would make a great plot for a book by @ellygriffiths A dispute over a bridge in Norfolk which was removed by the National Trust and keeps being re-built!

Pumpkins can be decorated without carving them. This way your pumpkin lasts long enough to be eaten and does not turn rank and smelly! This one has been adorned by students at school.

Just made the most amazing sandwich from the latest @bbcgoodfood magazine: Smoky beetroot, feta and hummus with crunchy seeds. I used home-made plougman's ale bread from an old @deliciousmag favourite recipe instead of focaccia.

Another @SainsburysMag recipe cooked from an old magazine (May 2022). This is Rib steak with burnt spring onion aioli, roast new potatoes with olives and artichokes and courgettes with chilli honey butter. Highly recommend this!

Finally made this Blackberry and Red Velvet (not loaf) cake from the @SainsburysMag of last August! It is for a Hospice tea so I don't get to taste it!

I am really keen to try the Blackcurrant and Thyme Summer Royale in the @SainsburysMag but blackcurrants are not available to buy anywhere not even in your shops! Are we expected to grow our own? Any advice?

I have used the cake recipe on the front cover of April's edition of @bbcgoodfood to make some tray bakes. These ones are for my children in Eco Club at school, hence the bees and flowers! Icing is coloured with jam rather than food colouring. Cake is just amazing - so moist!

Roast Chicken with Parmesan and Thyme (actually rosemary) dauphinoise potatoes from @bbcgoodfood I just put the chicken straight onto the oven shelf - yum!
