The recording studio is being re-designed by our behavioural team (@SashaNewar and Sixue Li) to record bat vocalizations - it was originally built by @EllaLatt! In the meantime - we have a rubber bat and a speaker playing social calls for the kids to listen to!

So it turns out - I will be presenting my work on gliding mammals tonight instead of Jeff's planned talk!! The event will be at the same place and same time - hope to see some familiar and unfamiliar faces to learn about ultrasound and ultraviolet in some ultracool animals 💜
Tonight's our April Conservation Cafe, featuring the wonderful @jeffcbowman. The talk starts at 7:30 pm upstairs at The Publican and will explore what all the wildlife got up during the pandemic while we were away. Free, as always, with a cash bar.
