Our founder was there. Snuck into the theatre to see this when it debuted. Before the internet -- so it was strictly word of mouth and the occasional magazine like Starlog that discussed how much people disliked the casting. Trailer was clearly rushed and YET -- it was INCREDIBLE. The rest is history.

OUR FIRST TIME IN ATLANTA AT A BIG CON AND THE LOVE WAS INSANE!! This is a very small sample of photos from the support and engagement we received at MOMOCON May 21-24th, but it captures the affection we have for our fans. I can tell you something simple -- while a lot of folks use social media better than we do, you can't pay people to take photos like this. The number of times we've heard (at every show we do) - "THANK YOU!" "HAVE HEARD ABOUT YOU GUYS!" "WE CAME SPECIFICALLY TO SEE YOU!" "CANNOT BELIEVE YOU'RE HERE!" - is never NOT heartwarming and hype inducing for the struggle and slog of taking an independent comics/manga/entertainment brand far in this hypercompetitive, not always fair industry. Once again, @MomoCon was a FANTASTIC SHOW and definitely one that we were proud to be a part of. Our founder & CLOCK STRIKER creator, Frederick L. Jones, spoke about this in the past and will do so soon via INK & PANELS Vol 2 virtual comic fest dedicated to black geekdom - but we're heading into a very complicated future where black engagement will be both maligned, attacked, and needed, and to have a show that supports this demo is crucial. While Saturday AM was one of the biggest publishers there - certainly black-owned - we loved being part of a diverse show as our company, manga, and fans are certainly very diverse and hit every age, race, & orientation. We are still floored at just how excited fans are for our upcoming videogame - Saturday AM: BATTLE MANGA. Literally am amazed at how many shows I've been at in the past 10 months where this has come up -- we may not get as much manga/comics press, but the videogame crowd has been CHAMPIONING OUR BRAND like crazy! Big things still to come!

Okay, so we were CLOSE! We had CARNAGE and MAGNETO in our Marvel Tokon Doom team bingo card. The GREEN GOBLIN was ABSOLUTELY NOT one we had guessed or would have guessed. We had Thor's evil foe - HELA as the 4th member of Doom's team. TWO SPIDEY VILLAINS??? Considering Peni Parker is on team Spidey, then yeah, it seems like the SPIDERMAN is Marvel's biggest hero tagline is still secure -- ESPECIALLY with the movie coming out. Also, a tad surprised that there was NOT a female member of DOOM's team considering we had been lead to believe that Arcsys wanted to have more female fighters in this game and thus far there's been atleast one per team. But with X-men having THREE WOMEN on one team - then guess it still balances out and achieves their goal. Still = great trailer, great team -- and what's looking like a GREAT GAME!
