Came into the UK with 2 goals; 1. Become a Cyber Security Analyst 2. Become a Software Test Analyst I paid over £900 for the Software Test training with money I was making from picking shifts and couldn't get a decent QA job after the training. Meanwhile, my Credit Card limit was increasing drastically and my credit score was 900 . I got into the @Cyblackorg internship and this required full attention. I had to stop picking shifts and only pick shift when absolutely neccessary. There are days I will be on my way back from shift and will join internship meetings while driving. I still had to fulfil by obligation as a man at home and by so doing, I maxed out my credit card of over £5000 and my credit score took a significant hit (dropped to below 400). This affected me getting other credit facilities. But it was all in the plan. 2-3 months after my intership, I got a Cyber Security role and as of today, I have paid back my loan and taking on financial responsibilties I used to dream about.
