They are indeed back on the Thames, or should we say they are back "under" the Thames. Diving to save artefacts from destruction is underway thanks to the generosity of the public as well as support of @DiveMasterIns and @DPWorldUK #LondonShipwreckProject #SaveTheLondon

Spent a day with marine planning, listing & policy colleagues @HistoricEngland kindly hosted by delightful @SouthendMuseums to talk policy & practice & see artefacts from The London which sank in 1665. Then onto the 1.1 mile pier to gaze at the site of the protected London wreck
