Psalm 20:7 is appropriate for this month of June. As the world seems to celebrate the sinful and corrupt nature of men, we celebrate the glory of God. “Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses, but we take pride in the name of the Lord our God.”

The renewal of the mind is worth spending some time and researching. The way God describes it throughout scripture, and the way He designed our brains is truly an amazing process. The more time focused on God, reading scripture, praying and talking to Him, a transformation happens that is extraordinary.

What do you consider most important in your life? Without hesitation, your answer should be your faith in God. Every other detail in your life, every person in your life, your career, all your hobbies and interests, are all developed and nourished with true fulfillment by your relationship with God. Without Him, all you have are empty days.

It wasn’t until I was in my 40’s that I correctly and outwardly expressed my salvation by *immersion*. Let me be clear. Baptism is NOT a requirement for salvation, but there is significant symbolism in baptism by immersion! Going under the water pictures burial (dying to sin and the old self). Emerging from the water represents resurrection and new life in Christ. This mirrors Jesus’ death and resurrection, making baptism an outward sign of inward spiritual reality.

Anyone who begins and cultivates an intimate relationship with God can experience Him doing extraordinary things in and through their life.

Currently doing an in-depth Bible study called ‘Experiencing God’ by Blackaby and King. I think with all Bible studies, all authors’ ideas and perspectives should be carefully considered and reflected upon (discernment). Pray about them and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you about them, and let Him show you if the idea presented is complete or articulated properly. These are seven realities of experiencing God: 1) God is always at work around you. 2) God pursues a continuing love relationship with you that is real and personal. 3) God invites you to become involved with Him in His work. 4) God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways. 5) God‘s invitation for you to work with Him, always leads you to a crisis of belief that requires faith and action. 6) You must make major adjustments in your life to join God in what He is doing. 7) You come to know God by experience as you obey Him, and He accomplishes His work through you.
