We end 2024 with our stats board showing 758 call outs and 24* lives saved throughout the year.
However we didn’t stay at zero for long as our first call out came within the first hour of 2025.
*our lives saved stats aren’t official until they have been ratified by the RNLI.

At 2:28am on Wednesday 23 October 2024, three lifeboat crew from Tower RNLI responded to reports of a casualty near the Golden Jubilee footbridge and launched on service.
This milestone rescue marks the lifeboat stations 11,000th shout since it was established on 2 January 2002.
