every V3-V4 voicebank has a trial period after installation. synthv1 has a basic editor and lite versions. voisona is free on desktop and mobile. openutau supports 4 different engines at this point. using AI slop/theft as a point of entry for vocal synthesizers is scummy at best

There's an official collaboration website called piapro.jp where you can find people who write lyrics/songs or make illustrations and collab with them. Yes it's Japanese-speaking but even using machine translation it's pretty easy to use
