I keep seeing this idea floating around that free users are "leeches." Can't get on board with that. Linux. Python. VS Code. Postgres , Git. Every framework I've ever used — all free. Built by people who gave it away. Free users aren't costs. They're early feedback loops, word-of-mouth fuel, and future buyers. For a viral idea capitalising on a trend? Ya, maybe kill free.
