In an effort to remain environmentally conscious, we’ve enlisted 1,000 worms with our HOTFROG composter to break down our daily scraps (one of the many steps we’re taking to reduce our waste in the office). We’re excited to use BSD compost for plantings on our balconies!

On a wet and cold Saturday twenty PGCPS students volunteered at the Schmidt Center by restoring a native garden, refurbishing a compost area, planting trees, and moving firewood. Service learning hours were earned by all but a sense of pride and accomplishment rang true as well.
