We talk a lot about Student engagement. We need to just as much about Teacher engagement. Teacher engagement leads to better Student engagement.

A peak into our digital workspace. This week, we’re using the Value Proposition Canvas from the #strategyzer series to organize data from our customer interviews. #lean #design #valueproposition #customerfocused

This tweet fits in perfect with a message I’ve seen circulating from Y Combinator to its founders. (See the screen capture) I’m here for it!
It is called Lean. And what one should have been doing in an upturn as well in order to be resilient in the downturn.

I would amend this statement to read: "the primary function of school is to make self-education easier; failing that, all other functions are beside the point."

“Scrum is a journey into one’s self.” “Consider how the team works as a Whole and how the team and organization form an even greater Whole.” This is the stuff that makes supreme sense to me. Harmonizing with the market, our colleagues, and our work. #thescrumbook #zen
Goal setting for next school year and gathering up wisdom wherever I can find it. Scrum-patterns.org is offering so many insights! @AgilixA I’d love to compare notes and see what patterns work best for solving problems in the high-school classroom.

Reading about #scrum #PLoP patterns and learning about high-performing scrum teams in a variety of contexts. What a great book! #scrumpatterns
After finishing #FounderBrand, I finished my goal of posting to LinkedIn and Twitter everyday. Blitzing the algorithms and re-energizing my followers. Plus I gained a couple too. Now it’s time to step back, and strategize. Slow down now, to speed up growth later.
Slow is fast and fast is slow. #IYKYK

My favorite part, at the moment, about customer interviews is capturing their voices, language and personalities using #sketchnotes. Though, I’ll be honest, I could use some help structuring the interviews to uncover the most useful information. #servicedesign #designthinking

Talk and observe users. What are they trying to accomplish? What friction points do they have in pursuing a goal? I am a big fan of Jobs To Be Done to help understand this.

Love this thread!
Scheduling your team at 100% capacity is a great way to ensure that nothing will be delivered on time.
Iterating my #leancanvas today on my lunch break. This weekend, I was fretting - ‘cause I decided to grow an audience without a finding product that brings value to people. Today I found some solace in #runninglean. There’s so much value in building an audience to test fit with!

Oh man! I really dig this triple-A principle!

Reading #RunningLean and right out the gate I’m ready to capture quotes that excite me. That Lawrence of Arabia quote absolutely floored me. I love being called dangerous. ⚔️

“The only way to win is not to play” sums up my views about end of the year evaluations as a public school teacher. The only games I care about these days are ones that end with mutual flourishing. #discoverjoy #letgo #bepresent no more #wargames #mutualflourishing
I started to experimenting with Scrum & Agile because I was tired of meetings that drained my energy. Now I’m finding ways to leverage my students’ unique strengths and skills in the classroom.
