When curriculum is treated as a delivery tool rather than a body of knowledge, coherence suffers. @curriculumblog is amplifying a debate every curriculum leader needs to engage. x.com/KnowledgeMatrs/status/…

📢If curriculum is only viewed as a tool to deliver a set of skills rather than the sequential body of knowledge it is—we are diminishing the impact of “coherent knowledge building.”🧱 @rpondiscio explains why knowledge-rich curricula never wins here: open.substack.com/pub/thenex…

The invisible labor of teaching is real. Planning periods aren't breaks — they're the work that makes the classroom possible. @CaseyJ_edu is sharing what the field needs to hear. #TeacherLife x.com/MarvelTeacher2/status/…

Things #Teachers don’t talk about:
How you use your “breaks” to answer parent messages, update the gradebook, make copies, prep the next lesson, or just sit in silence trying to reset before kids come back to class.

Strong instructional foundation isn't a step to skip on the way to the next initiative — it's what makes every initiative work. @natasha_nurse amplifying what actually sticks in classrooms. #TeacherDevelopment x.com/JorgeDoesPBL/status/20…

Before the next initiative. Teachers need a strong instructional foundation. After 20 years of classroom visits and coaching, I've found that effective core instruction is built on five key components: Curriculum → Literacy → Strategies → Monitoring → Impact That's the playbook. @JTSPOTLIGHTS @MPA_GOJAGUARS @wadestanford @MindyCoreOU @GiganteOrnella

30 educators investing a Monday in making new teacher mentoring more meaningful. That's how the profession sustains itself. @summers_llm is building this — one mentor at a time. #lftx26 x.com/summers_llm/status/206…

For years, I measured my commitment by how much I sacrificed. The longer the hours, the harder the grind, the more I believed I was proving something. Then one day, I took a walk at the end of my workday. And everything felt different. I've been sitting with a question lately that I wasn't expecting: What if I'm not falling behind? What if I've simply arrived somewhere? There's a difference between chasing a life and living one. I'm still learning to tell them apart. My latest reflection is here: bit.ly/4o0fm79 Let me know what you think.
