Morning all. The Stimulating Physics Network is running another instance of the Physics Teaching A Level Course. Online on Monday evenings 16:45 - 18:15, we start in October - but more details are in the attached! Free for state schools in England.
Wow! That was quick - it took under 24 hours to fill the course. Thanks to all for sharing. We will look into options for running other instances of the course.

Welcome back after a well-earned summer. Throughout England there is the new SKPT intensive course for non-specialist physics teachers. Details can be found here: iop.org/education/support-sc… My Bury St Edmunds course starts at County Upper on 23rd September, woo hoo... book now!
So, I think I've either broken @PhETsims amazing Circuit Construction Kit or there is something else I don't understand about electrical currents. I'm worried by the different current flows in the parallel wires...
Wow. @ubereats_uk has the worst customer support I have ever come across. I mean really bad; not just poor, but deliberately and by design awful. Over 62 e-mail messages and countless phone calls to try and get a previously agreed refund and now they won’t let me leave. 1/12
The UberEats team make it really difficult to leave (impossible in my case, because of the outstanding balance they claim to have refunded)! Improvements to @Uber_Support 5: If someone wants to leave you and never hear from you again, then let them go. 11/12
@ruskin147 – Rory, do you have any idea how we can stop big technology companies from designing their customer support to be so deliberately bad that people give up? Final thought: @Uber, you need to be warned of the danger being done to your brand by @ubereats_uk. 12/12
