Got some new sheets and they have this tag on them. Should be a federal law that all sheet manufacturers do this. I used to never get it right the first time.

Had to zoom in to see what they were doing
A glimpse of what life on the moon could actually look like. NASA is showing off new renderings for a future lunar base where astronauts could live and work during long-term science missions as part of the Artemis program. The planned habitat would serve as a hub for crews and robotic missions studying the moon while helping prepare for future missions to Mars. The reveal is just a preview of a larger announcement expected later this month as NASA shares more details on its next phase of lunar exploration.

Gonna suck when they’re 350 years in and Chrysalis II zips by them after a 5 year flight using some new quantum drive thingy
🚨: Engineers just proposed a 36 mile long spacecraft called 'Chrysalis' that could carry 2400 people to Alpha Centauri, just 4 light-years away from us, on one way trip. The journey will take 400 years! The passengers who board it will never see Earth again. Neither will their children. Or their grandchildren.
Community note
Chrysalis is the winning entry in a design competition for hypothetical generation ships, not an actual engineering proposal feasible with current technology. livescience.com/space/space-ex… centauri-dreams.org/2025/08/12/chr…

After seeing some test flight flap burnups not sure I want the window seat riding on something operating at the absolute limits of materials physics.
JUST IN: SpaceX’s IPO filing says Starship could enable point-to-point travel anywhere on Earth in about 30 minutes or less.

How much will a success or failure of the next Starship test flight affect the SpaceX share price on IPO day?

I finished this book a few weeks ago and loved it. Just saw the movie trailer and I’m skeptical it’ll do it justice.

I’m at the window seat over the wing. Flight tracker on the seatback screen shows we’re over the Rocky Mountains and I’d like to open the shade and see them. But then I remember that old Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner and think, meh, why chance it.

Years ago when I was 16 I got a job washing cars at the Lincoln-Mercury dealership. Made $7.25 an hour. Up to then I got a $5/week allowance for house chores. So I told my mom it wasn’t worth my time and wasn’t going to do chores anymore. Turned out it doesn’t work that way.

So annoying that movie trailers on YouTube show a few seconds of the trailer then “TRAILER STARTS NOW” like I needed a trailer for the trailer.

xMoney is going to offer 6% interest. Man I’d love to see them do a brokerage and offer that on the collateral I’m using for cash secured puts.

It’s distracting to me that in every period movie the cars are all spotlessly clean.

Loved Pluribus. Not watching another episode until series is done and all seasons released. 2 years wait between seasons is BS. I want to binge it properly.

If I could use one of these it sure as hell wouldn’t be to reenact a Sherlock Holmes mystery and that door better have a lock.

Why hasn’t Disney ruined this awesome movie with a remake yet?

I would love to eventually see an Optimus stand-up comic. I feel like there’ll be a treasure trove of material for it to make fun of its experiences.

Maybe my social media addiction will cure itself. The dopamine just doesn’t hit on a feed of AI slop.
