Moved to DHL from Royal Mail a couple of years ago as RM service was pretty abysmal. Recently DHL standard of service is slipping big time esp since the forthcoming takeover by Evri (ugh), so contemplating moving back to Royal Mail…thoughts?
Looks like DPD have gone the way of Evri. No customer service at all - just a bot. Avoid if you can. When something doesn't work (their fault), there's nothing you can do to rectify other than wait for redelivery the next day. Not ideal for urgent orders
ok from 9am to 11.30am today any emails sent to me have dissapeared into the ether....it's now working again? worrying - if you have no response pls call email again.
I used to use Royal Mail for all our deliveries - i moved to DHL as the reliability nosedived. I sent a private parcel by 24hr tracked last tuesday (collected by postie) - a week later the only scan is that it has been received at my local depot. It's got worse.
lunchtime today i found out half of yesterdays orders were not delivered. They were on a DHL lorry and the driver was involved in a serious accident. They are now en route again and DHL have upgraded to Saturday delivery but it highlights the importance of allowing enough time...
my annual call out for people not to leave their posters to the last minute and think that next day delivery is going to work when it's black friday christmas week etc etc. Don't take the risk - just allow a bit more time!
Our fabric posters also work extremely well as backdrops for little festivals! The annual sausage and cider at my wonderful local the @GwaelodInn is in full flow ❤️
every single item we despatched yesterday by DHL has a delivery exception at present - something has happened between the Cardiff depot and the hub - been told might be delivered this pm or if not they'll attempt tomorrow (sat) - this is why you shouldn't leave to last minute!
Happy to share some tips I give colleagues internally. But also have you asked your comms or R&D teams? They might have templates / help. Also (promise I’m not on commission) check out @Scienceposters - their cloth posters are amazing and can be folded up making travel a dream.
my uploader (hosted by jotform) has been broken by the amount of orders i've had lol! I'm in contact with their technical support so hopefully it'll be up and running again soon! apologies
For people in the UK: I have used @scienceposters and was always happy with delivery and quality.
Plus they may or may not have doubled as a light blanket during a post-poster session power nap.
I turned them into a skirt and a bag afterwards, which is great conversation starter
