👂We’ve listened to what you have to say. 📢Great news! We are continuing our PVG fee waiver for Qualifying Voluntary Organisations. This means if you are a volunteer you won’t need to pay for a PVG disclosure. ➡️ disclosure.gov.scot/disclosu… #PVGfeewaiver #volunteers

Important points from @paulmbradley on @BBCRadioScot this morning on the rising costs the sector is facing. We need: ⏱ Funding over multiple years 📈 Funds keeping pace with energy costs and inflation ✔️ A guarantee to pay the full costs of running these public services

Really interesting #bbcgms interview on the impact of rising fuel costs on businesses. Very struck that vol orgs are also facing these increases without the ability to raise prices with customers and don't have £ to support their staff in the way that that business was able to.

Pleased to be asked to share my thoughts and @CTAUK1 members' concerns about fuel prices, inflation & the #CostOfLivingCrisis with @ThirdForceNews 🗞️ Without action on fair funding & affordable volunteering, many amazing charities and essential services are under threat 🪙

Great to be at #SCVOGathering to raise this major issue for @CTAUK1 members with @iainastewart. We need action to prevent the cost of living crisis becoming a crisis of volunteering @scvotweet @ScotVolForum @VolScotland @Nolsb @ScotSecofState @hmtreasury
Rising fuel prices can make #Volunteering unsustainable. @kellyjamesdavid @CTAUK1 asks @iainastewart to commit to an urgent inflationary uplift to the Approved Mileage Allowance Payment (AMAP) #SCVOGathering #CostofLiving

We are delighted to support the @CTAUK1 campaign for an immediate review of the changes to the Approved Mileage Allowances Rate. Our members have highlighted how the cost of living crisis is affecting volunteers and communities across Scotland. bit.ly/3OE9sa2

The @CTAUK1 is calling for an immediate review of the approved mileage rate that can be claimed by volunteers owing to its growing impact on recruitment and retention. okt.to/VJC8FQ
