I heard first-hand from people on Palm Island and Townsville about the importance of Path to Treaty and The Voice during public forums in NQ last month. The Voice will give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people a say in decisions that impact them now and in the future.

Iβm absolutely committed to a Voice to our National Parliament. I believe it is a path to reconciliation. Itβs about a simple idea: that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should have a say in decisions that impact them. I stand side-by-side with First Nations people.
