The first in a new series of short films from #Ceredigion. The first film explores the diversity of the West Wales landscape, from the Cambrian Mountains, through steep valleys to the dramatic coastlines of Cardigan Bay. @VisitCambMtns @VisitMidWales

Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sea mist roll in as quickly as the one that hit Aberystwyth this evening. It was a beauty though.

Fresh water from the Ystwyth and Rheidol rivers mix with the sea in Aberystwyth. The colour is perfectly natural and comes from deposits of peat and soil which have runoff into the rivers from the surrounding countryside after recent rainfall. (Not sewage being released!)

The @NLWales digitisation team are busy scanning content for the National Broadcast Archive. Apparently moustaches were pretty popular in the 70s 😀

Really enjoyed providing the live drone footage for BBC/S4C coverage of the Eisteddfod again this year. Great to work with such a professional and friendly team.

Did you know that the National Library of Wales was founded by Royal Charter in 1907? It was given to define its purpose and independence.
