Just to be clear, what I wrote was being personal, but making assumptions about me and my word choice (ie using the word effective) is not personal.

As a doctor whose wife experienced 4 miscarriages amongst the 3, now healthy adult children we have raised, I can’t stop thinking about @JDVance’s answers on abortion during the VP debate. Here is the problem with his and Trump’s ā€œleave it to the statesā€ approach. 1/13

Vietnam has a new top leader. There is a lot of interest in what it means for Vietnam and for the region. We can’t predict the future. But there are some things that probably won’t happen. 🧵

Nice Guys, Happy Family pix, & DV🧵 The first time my ex husband hit me, was after I had taken $200 out of our account to put a deposit on a washing machine. He apparently used to check the bank balance on his way home from work each night (no atms/online banking back then). 1/

The main purpose of my sarcastic diagram has always been to highlight double standards. If you dismiss fairly rigorous studies for some flaw when we all know you disagree with the outcome, then it is a bit opportunist if you then ignore flaws when you support the outcome.

🧵 1ļøāƒ£ When my in-laws booked their flight to Berlin (which would be their first trip abroad), my husband and I told them, ā€œWe can get a cheap flight or train ticket to almost anywhere. Where in Europe would you like to go?ā€ Without hesitating, my father-in-law said, ā€œLorraine.ā€
