In all seriousness, I've recently shifted my approach in the draft to sacrificing a bit of ceiling for higher floor players.
Been drafting too many long-term projects with 95 potential but low 50s overall.
Really focused on prioritizing high 50s-low 60s overall position guys

I've gotten a lot of questions about generational pitchers. Yes, they do exist, but they are rare.
I just found my first of MLB The Show 26 and just like in previous games, they tend to be 19 years old.
(Also, this draft class was insane. Also had a 99 Potential CF in Rd 6 🔥)

I was very excited about the new trade block system and the addition of a 4th trade slot in MLB The Show 26, but both features are admittedly very unpolished, especially involving CPU trades.
There are too many trades where teams deal EVERY player on their block to each other.
