On this date in 1964, the Cardinals and the Cubs made a little trade, bringing my boyhood idol, Lou Brock, to St. Louis. So I guess you could say I’m thankful for the Cubs. #StLCards

This is absolutely a contender for inclusion in “Pete’s Top Ten Favorite Tweets of All Time.”
“Don’t get too comfortable digging into the box. Can you say ‘chin music’? I knew you could. Because the inside corner is my neighborhood.”

The Spurs are an extremely young team. And they absolutely played like it late in games 4 and 5.

I get it. I really do. But I still miss the days when being a dominant big man meant going to work in the low post. #NBAfinals

What a season Jordan Walker is having! 117 mph laser into the upper deck. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Now tied for the MLB lead in RBIs. #StLCards

Seven years ago today, after a lifetime of waiting, it finally happened. Our #LetsGoBlues finally became a triumphant #WeWentBlues! What a day. #StLBlues

Hate to see this. One of my favorite non-Cardinals to watch, Cruz was having a nice season.
The Pirates have placed Oneil Cruz on the injured list due to fourth and fifth metacarpal non-displaced fractures in his left hand

Not only a chance for the sweep (on the road, no less), but also another chance to get to ten games over .500 for the first time since 2022! #StLCards

Going through some old cards of mine last night and came across this one. I’ve always been a Cardinals fan and viscerally hated the mid-80s Mets teams, but I just think this card is so incredibly cool. Dr. K was such an absolute beast back then! #StLCards #LGM #ILoveThe80s

Among the mysteries of the universe that 14-year old me would not be able to fathom (and, truth be told, 54-year old me struggles with as well) is why this card is so doggone inexpensive in 2026. Not complaining, mind you, since I’m a buyer, not a seller!

This turned out to be a HUGE day in #StLCards history! Made for an amazingly entertaining era to grow up as a Cards fan!
#OTD 1980 - Whitey Herzog was hired as the manager of the Cardinals and the course of the franchise was soon to change - in a big way! 👇 Speaking about learning the NL league without the DH. 👇 "If it gets down to a point where you guys think I screw up, it might take me three or four days to learn this because I am pretty smart"

After 11 years, 11.1k followers and thousands of tweets… My old account got hacked. I reached out to X Support both regular & Premium over a dozen different tickets and they were no help - you can never talk to an actual person. The hacker DM’d me saying he would give my account back for $200 and X still did nothing. Frustrating. I was (am) devastated. So many good memories posted on that account. A lot of former and current players followed me. Just sucks. Luckily, the hacker gave up my username and I happened to get that back last night. So we restart. Would appreciate any and all reposts on this so I can try to get as many of my followers back as I can. Have missed posting and the community I’ve built so much. And of course… Life is better when the Cardinals win🙌

Is it officially “The MLB” now? If so, that’s dumb. And if not, someone should let their official partners know. And with that, the old man waving his fist at a cloud steps down from his virtual soapbox.

It has been decades since I ate cereal for breakfast. It also has been decades since Kellogg’s included these in each box. Draw your own conclusions…

Been rooting for him since he was a teammate of Jack's for @GB__Baseball! Great to see all those years of hard work pay off.
Dylan Cumming with a Quality Wednesday. Cumming with 6 scoreless allowing just 4H and 3BB while striking out 4 on 46k/78p. He earns his first #Barons win in the 2-0 shutout of the Smokies.
