If I were to stream… and it was mostly just me doing my day to day work, while talking to chat, would anyone watch? Setup isn’t going to be anything stellar, no real agenda - I’d pretty much just go do stuff across 5 or 6 repos in parallel & talk through what I’m thinking

At least I can go to LinkedIn to see what was, experience it again. Hindsight blows.

🚨BREAKING: trump signs order demanding all US companies donate their GPUs to China because foreign nationals might use them locally to train dangerous model under US control.

Turns out that Mythos, was in fact, too dangerous to release. Maybe less yapping next time. “It’s really good, try it” be the new marketing strategy

I feel less guilty about burning thousands of dollars on fable. My only regret is that it wasn’t tens of thousands.

Fable stuck around just long enough to debug my 4 billion rows of training data, train a new financial model that was twice as profitable with half the drawdown, and during stress periods, maintain profitability. The model is now finally passing the 30% a month yield.

ByteDance’s 5th rust bundler cooking. They basically the BYD of compilers at this point.
We’re building a new Rust-based compiler & optimizer for TypeScript, using static type info from typescript-go. Think Google Closure Compiler for TS: smaller/faster apps & libs, targeting ~10–20% bundle size reduction. It’s still private, but we plan to open source it.

Said this to someone today. It’s not vibe coding, it’s additional capacity. I can work across the stack in languages I haven’t spent a decade to master. Software is now articulation, ideas, and understanding. architecture is architecture no matter the language.

Telling Fable to “/loop till perfection, maintain a 20 agent concurrency at all times, decompose agents if concurrency drops” before bed was a very, very expensive lesson.

I thought getting a massive dedicated server would be more than enough to handle all my concurrent work. It was… but i forgot that I’m me and I’ll consume as much compute as possible. More capacity, more agents.
