User requests are things that people want not things that people have to do.
When people who are new to being project managers hear that someone wants a feature they just write it down..
People who have been project managers for a while do something different first.
They ask themselves a couple of questions, about the feature.
What goal will this feature help us achieve?.
What would make us think that this feature is not a good idea?
Most teams do not think about features in this way. That is why they end up with many features to work on and their plans do not work out.
User requests and features are important to think about carefully.
