We’re excited to share a new layer of insight from our Baseline Buoy deployed at the @NMAPlymouth. This buoy has been quietly capturing underwater footage from the Eddystone Reef Exhibit, home to 45 species of sharks, rays, and fish.

On a recent deployment we found an opportunity too good to ignore, a brutally rough patch of water that was perfect for putting one of our buoys through a stress test.

Our Robotics Engineer Alex launched the buoy in to see how it would cope under the kind of extreme conditions our customers often worry about, and it came through the test impressively well, escaping with only cosmetic damage.
