My mom passed away in the early morning hours of May 18th. I feel enormous waves of grief balanced with tremendous comfort knowing she's no longer suffering. Thank you for all the prayers and support for her over the years.
Please include my mom in your prayers. She's tested positive for Covid-19 at the nursing home. I spoke with her after they called me--but before they told her--I told her. She's scared, sad, and confused. Devastating--just days before she was to receive the vaccine.

Every now and again I try to get creative with something new for my #foodplan This worked. BBQ sharp cheddar cheeseburger with red onion, pickle, and refined sugar-free bbq sauce on a Joseph’s pita. A side of fresh cut and air fried sweet potato fries with more sauce for dipping.
In an effort to cut down on the number of store trips I make each week, I masked up- took sanitizer in and shopped a little more than I prefer. This, plus what’s in the fridge, has me stocked for a bit. I’ll make note of how long it keeps me. #smallchangesmakeadifference
Dinner out with my grandson, Noah! He just said, “...yeah, he was probably born way back in the 80’s (talking about the creator of the CupHead video game and cartoon), you know, PoPo, you were born in the olden days.” It’s official: I’m old. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
