I’ve been doing live-watch updates on The Other App, but suffice to say that this new season of Quantum Leap has managed to suck all of the joy and hope out of the premise of the show; for its continued survival (and my interest in watching), I hope they turn it around quick.

They’re centering a needless drama that isn’t as interesting as the story of the leaps, and subverting the plot of each episode for it. The contrast between the glimmers of joy last episode and the constant reminder that everyone should be sad and angsty have made this apparent.
