It's some training performance by Team Maher to get her to produce that first-up at 1800m. *⃣ Lady Shenandoah 📈103.2 improved on her previous best of 101.7 in the G1 Surround Stakes. Some downplayed the win because of the narrow margin, but the race was outstanding on the clock 🔥⏱️, and she gave the 2nd horse 5.5kg relative to WFA. *⃣ Vauban 102 had more merit with the race shape against him. The sectional speed he showed is a very promising sign for his future here in Australia. *⃣ Eagle Nest was backed like she was ready to run a big new peak fresh off a break ($11 into $6.5), and she did that.
