Seattle finally got its own iconic city letter sign. Cities around the world have them. But Seattle's may be the most unique. Every letter features Indigenous Pacific Northwest artwork

Seeking glory? Go to space. Want to make money? Go to space. Want to find a wife? Go to space. Want to prove yourself? Go to space. Want a better neighborhood? Go to space. Want to fulfill your last wish before you die? Go to space. Want adventure? Go to space. Want to fly a billion-dollar vehicle and larp as a mech pilot? Go to space. It's all the same answer: go to space. The future is out there.

Since I'm in the mood for predictionmaxxing, here's a take I genuinely believe: My prediction is that once the space race truly kicks off again in 2030s, a lot of today's social ills and pessimism will begin to fade. Humans are frontier-driven creatures. We need something larger than ourselves to strive toward. Right now, many people feel like there is no grand project left, just making money and repeating the same cycle. A real race to industrialize space would change that. It would give people a future to believe in, a challenge to participate in, and something worth building toward. Maybe I'm delusional, but I think a civilization looking toward the stars is healthier than one staring only at itself.

Canadian tall poppy syndrome like this is why I left and why the Canadian economy is in a recession somehow despite the AI boom
A real headline from a Canadian national newspaper. Pretty disgusting stuff.

Very soon I will be unable to go to restaurants for a few weeks. At least it'll help out with losing a few pounds.

More intelligent animals like cetaceans, crows, and other great apes definitely think of humans as what we'd term magic
