Finally hooked up a Logic Analyzer to my Oekoboiler Water Heater and sniffed the UART/USART between the controller/display board and the inner control board.
Seems to be some sort of Modbus, but can't really make sense of it. "

35 E8 is CRC-16 checksum used by Modbus. 64 should be the address and 41 the function. But this is a unkown function. And I cannot derive something with the data.

Got that board up & running. A 2nd diode was also the wrong way some solder bridges that needed to be fixed.
@esphome_ is installed, 2 GPIO expander (I2C) are also working (hence the relays). Next: testing POE & the AC Input (PowerSupplyModule is not yet soldered onto the board)

Feature Request an @_solarmanager da ich leider aktuell immer wieder Internet Ausfall habe, siehts bei mir immer wieder so aus. Ein lokales Caching der Daten wäre noch nice, welcher dann die Daten nachsendet. Zum Glück zählen die kWHs da ja trotzdem 😎😉 auch wenn nicht gemessen

hallo @_solarmanager ich glaube eure Doku external-web.solar-manager.c… hat da einen Fehler. "Optimization On" ist 0 und "no Control" ist 1 für heat pump.

und vielleicht hilft es jemandem, das Feld im info/sensor JSON heisst heatPumpMode, gesetzt
wird es aber als chargingMode via control/heat-pump

Kann ein PV Wechselrichter ein Kabel Model beintrachtigen? Ist da etwas bekannt? Wir hatten nun mehrfach über Mittag (bei sonnigem schönen Wetter sprich Leistung am höchsten) Internet Ausfall, Modem hat Signal verloren. Hast evtl du @technikblog_ch schon Mal so etwas gehört?
