The second album I ever bought (first was Smash by The Offspring). I still go through a rollercoaster of emotions every time I listen to it.
It is without a doubt one of my five desert island discs.
Today in 1994: Nirvana releases their “Unplugged in New York” LP.
“In the moment, you weren’t aware you were taping what was Nirvana's last album," producer @alexcolettiprod said. "It was only in hindsight that it became what it became."
“All Apologies”
We just started watching Emily in Paris and the soundtrack is just so good I had to create a playlist featuring every song from every episode in the order they were played. That’s 234 songs and over 13 hours of mostly French music 🤌 music.apple.com/us/playlist/…
Very anecdotic but my usage of Twitter has dropped significantly since the Elon takeover. Not in retaliation to his actions, but rather because of his actions.
I used to have Tweetbot opened on my Mac 24/7, and launched the app dozens of times a day on my phone.
The Twitter website and apps are so bad that by design, they make me use the service much less often.
I now understand how the Twitter app works, but it just doesn't click for me.
Of course, I am in the minority that was using third-party apps, but I still think it is telling.
Happy birthday, Steve, we'll forever miss you and the magic of your amazing presentations!
"An iPod, a phone and an internet communicator. An iPod, a phone… Are you getting it? These are not three separate devices. This is one device, and we are calling it iPhone."
I have a ton of the same stories haha Diff country but same continent 😉 The one I told my kids when a teacher slapped me, I told my mom, she slapped me Tom and said she is sure the teacher was right….. she wasn’t wrong 🤷♂️
When I was in that same high school years later, wine was definitely banned, however we were allowed to smoke during recess.
The good old days, I’m telling you.
