Start now and start right. You can still correct all junks of mistakes you’ve made due to information asymmetry.
• Cisco Packet Tracer is free (for learners). • Wireshark is free. • GNS3 is free. • Open vSwitch is free. • Linux networking tools (ip, netstat, ss, traceroute, tcpdump) are free. • Cloud free tiers (AWS, Azure, GCP labs) exist. • Subnet calculators, routing labs, and practice VMs are free. You don’t need expensive gear to understand Networking. Just a laptop, internet, and consistency. Start building real packets, not excuses.

Be informed
Cisco has announced CCNA v2.0! The switchover from v1.1 to v2.0 happens on February 3, 2027, so you still have 8 months to take v1.1 - plenty of time! You could start from 0 today and pass v1.1 in time, so DON'T PANIC! Give me some time to analyze the updated topics and think about it, and then I'll make some videos about v2.0 and my plans for it. I think it's a very good update, cutting out some of the more "painful" topics for CCNA students. The new topics focus heavily on configuration and troubleshooting.

Once you finish Starting Point, move to the easy machines and build from there. hackthebox.com/starting-poin… 3. PortSwigger Web Security Academy: the best free resource for learning web application security. Every OWASP Top 10 vulnerability covered with real labs you actually hack, not just read about. Free. portswigger.net/web-security 4. Blue Team Labs Online: defensive security labs focused on forensics, threat hunting, SIEM analysis, and incident response. Built specifically for people who want to work on the blue team side. blueteamlabs.online 5. OWASP WebGoat: a deliberately insecure web application you run locally and attack. INSTEAD OF WATCHING AN HOUR OF NETFIX. This 32-min Stanford lecture will teach you more about living boldly than 10 years of self-help books.

Stop scrolling if you care about the future of music. 🧵 We just moved from "random AI noise" to pro-grade controllable music creation. @TadAI_official just dropped their 2.1 update, and it’s powered by Mureka V9—which Artificial Analysis officially ranked as the #1 AI music model globally for vocals and instrumentation. The sound quality isn't just "good for AI"—it sounds like a finished studio track. But the real game-changer is Reference Mode. Instead of typing 50 prompts hoping for a good beat, you can just upload a reference track. Tad AI decouples the audio, letting you steal just the melody or the exact vocal style to build something completely fresh. They also added a high-fidelity AI Cover & remastering feature that turns rough ideas into full-scale productions in clicks. The AI music race is officially moving at warp speed, and Tad 2.1 just set a brand new standard. #TadAI #AIMusic #TadAIMusicGenerator

I worked so hard for to position myself for a better future is gone just like that. What makes it even more frustrating is that I had to pay before I could even make a report at the police station. Imagine being robbed and still having to pay to report the crime.
