This morning’s plenary session saw the gavel come down on #cop27. In a historic breakthrough, a #lossanddamage fund was agreed to be established. At this point, the fund exists in name only and concerns remain around financial resourcing and accountability.

It has taken 30 years and 27 COP’s to hold rich countries accountable and make them pay for the #lossanddamage they have caused. The success today is a testament to the tireless mobilisation of vulnerable countries and civil society.
