I just woke up and watched UFC Freedom 250. I have to say... I'm kind of sorry I missed it. That was an incredible event. Every fight in the main card ended in a knockout or a stoppage. Even if the matchups could have been better, the fights were unbelievable. As I expected, Gane picked Pereira apart and knocked him out. Pereira shouldn't have come in so heavy. He was obviously going to be slower. However, those back-of-the-head shots from Gane were awful. I don't know why he resorted to them. He was going to win anyway. He's such a dirty fighter. I can see why everyone hates him. As for the main event, man. That has to be one of my favorite MMA fights of all time. I kinda wish Topuria continued into the final round because I thought he won Round 4, but he was getting battered like I've never seen a fighter get battered in their life. It was unbelievable back-and-forth action. I thought Gaethje would get stopped in Round 3 after watching Round 2, but he just came back harder. Topuria looked like an utter mess by the end of the 3rd. I have no idea what the doctor was thinking letting it go on for that long between rounds. Anyway, it felt almost inevitable. You could see Topuria constantly wincing in the 4th. However, he just kept going. He showed unbelievable resilience and endurance. I have no idea how he wasn't flatlined. Guy's got a chin on him. It's crazy. That was a huge upset. I expected another Topuria masterclass. We got a Gaethje masterclass instead. MMA continues to be as unpredictable as ever. That was a great event that the UFC desperately needed because a lot of events in recent years have been kind of underwhelming.

This guy will be a crazy old man until he's 80, probably land himself in jail a few more times, and eventually die of a heart attack after yelling at the clouds about other people for 3 hours straight. I'm not even joking. He needs serious help. I'm not trying to make light of it, but Tommy seems to be the mentally only stable one of the three. We know Tyson had some problems, and he overcame them, which is highly respectable, but he's become quite delusional in recent years. John is just a complete nutjob. This has happened too many times. He needs help.
John Fury went crazy and started punching walls after the Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall fight 😭

I had it 4-2 Tommy Fury, but it could have been 3-3. The 2nd round (which I gave to Tommy) was pretty close. Tommy didn't perform that well in this fight. Yes, he landed the much cleaner shots, and, in my opinion, he should win this fight, but he rarely went on the offensive. He was constantly on the move and feinting without throwing, even when Eddie was gassed. He took too much time off waiting for Eddie to gas out. This could backfire and be a draw.

Bro, the last few fights of this Misfits card have been really weird, and not in a good way. We had a body shot only fight between Armz Korleone and Big Stacks, followed by an extremely sloppy and clinch-heavy brawl between Matt Floyd and Anthony Taylor, where AT kept complaining and even started shouting and pounding the ground in frustration for a few minutes at the end. I don't know if AT was just being overdramatic or if Matt Floyd's tactics were really dirty and caused those problems to AT's eyes, but AT landed 2 extremely low blows as well. The crowd were so disinterested they were focusing on something else entirely. Honestly, this has been kind of a trainwreck. Hopefully, Fury vs Hall salvages this event, but, my God, influencer boxing is really living up to its reputation of being a "circus show". Even the commentators don't know what to say.

I've never laughed as hard watching a boxing match in my life as I have just now watching Jordan McCann vs Ibiza Final Boss. In my 8 years of watching boxing, that was undoubtedly the dumbest fight I've ever watched, and I loved it. Jordan McCann telegraphs his punches from Monday and throws on Friday. Both guys had zero energy after the second round and were just walking around the ring, hanging on to the ropes, and falling over each other like a bunch of idiots. I genuinely have no idea how this fight made the distance.

Imagine after all the hype and speculation about this book for the past 15 years that, it eventually comes out but is the worst book in the series, disappointing everyone.

If USA wins the World Cup, I think they should be allowed to change the official name of the sport to "Soccer" for the next 4 years.

Pretty wild day for milestones. Elon Musk becomes the first trillionaire. MrBeast becomes the first person to hit 500 million subscribers.

Here are my thoughts on the H3H3 vs iDubbbz lawsuit situation and Moist Critical's coverage of it: First, I want to preface this by saying that, contrary to what I'm going to say next, I do actually agree with Charlie when he gets mad at people for saying that he "avoids certain topics". At the end of the day, YouTubers are allowed to make videos on whatever subjects interest them; they don't have an obligation to listen to morons online like Denims, Hasan, and iDubbbz who bash them for not discussing certain leftist political topics (or any topic, for that matter) that they think "should" be discussed. I completely get that. So, the following is a little bit of a nitpick: it just irks me that Charlie seems to be pretty selective about what topics he chooses to cover. Charlie, in almost all of his videos (barring a few noteworthy ones in my mind), is completely in the right. His points are completely valid. However, I dislike that he mostly just talks about situations where right-wingers are clearly in the wrong and leftists are clearly in the right, and not the other way around. Again, I have nothing against Charlie being left-leaning; I am also that way. However, it irks me that he rarely covers egregious things the left does. I know Charlie covered the Hasan dog shocking situation, but that is pretty much the only case I can recall over the last year where he crossed into that territory. Almost every other video is either about the Trump administration, the Epstein files, AI slop, corporate predators, or scalpers. Again, he's almost always right in these videos. But, I wish he more frequently discussed instances where the left is completely in the wrong (e.g. when they bullied Emiru for not wanting to give her opinion on a political topic she hasn't researched extensively, or when they bashed gamers for getting paternal feelings off of Pragmata, or when Hasan acted like a manchild in his beef with ShoeOnHead, etc.) It does almost feel like Charlie somewhat avoids those topics. Again, I'm okay with that; moreover, there is a chance that these particular dramas are ones he didn't follow. However, having watched him for years and having followed general online discourse, it does feel like there is somewhat of a selective bias in the topics he chooses to cover. With all that being said, I think Charlie was completely correct in the coverage of this particular situation: Ethan is being a hypocrite by only going after Ian and not Destiny when Ian clearly stated that he didn't believe in what Destiny said. Even if Destiny were joking, in what world is it considered defamation to just bring up such a joke on your stream and say you don't agree with it? Is it just that it was put on the stream for a few hours? Yes, that was extremely irresponsible behavior from Ian, but anyone with an eyeball can tell that it's a Discord message from Destiny, and it makes no sense for that to be less of a ground for a defamation lawsuit than what Ian did, which is exactly the point he was making. Charlie talked about that for 36 minutes, and he was in the right, but I don't understand why he didn't also discuss how the snark community who called CPS on Ethan started their degenerate behavior because Denims brought someone on to her stream who said that Ethan's children live in an environment of feces. Denims is a close friend of Ian's whom he had cameo in his Content Cop on Ethan. That should have been a major point to make against Ian, but Charlie avoided it entirely (or he was unaware of it, though I somewhat doubt it considering the fact that he researched this drama for 3 hours). Moreover, Charlie used the argument of "it seems that the Internet is only okay with bad things when they happen to people they dislike (like Ian), and not people they like". That is 100% valid and something I have preached about for years. But that is the exact same criticism you can make against Ian. Ian made a video 3 years ago talking about how he regretted his Content Cop series because they resulted in hate and harassment being sent towards other people, and Charlie discussed that topic in multiple videos. Only 2 years later, however, Ian made a Content Cop on Ethan, which probably did the exact same thing he had suddenly become against when he developed "empathy". So, once again, "No bad actions; only bad targets" is a perfectly valid criticism to make against Ethan in this case, but it should also have been made on Ian when he released his Content Cop video last year. Okay, after that long segment on Charlie's coverage, I want to talk about the actual drama itself. I think this is, once again, a case of Ethan being a complete moron who somehow makes the bad guys look good. Think about it: Ethan has been in major beefs with Keemstar, Hasan, Denims, and iDubbbz, who are some of the worst people on the Internet. Yet, in almost every case, he ended up acting terminally online and took it too far, causing his position to be less valid and giving his enemies good reasons to get mad. Examples include when he tried to go after Keemstar's sponsors, when he filed copyright claims against various creators for reacting to his content even though he has battled a few equally invalid copyright lawsuits in the past, and now, when he's suing Ian for defamation for completely baseless reasons. H3H3 continues to be as insufferable as he was 6 years ago. He hasn't grown. He hasn't become smarter. He's just as dumb and vindictive as he used to be, and he always drags various dramas on to unnecessary extremes, causing them to lose any meaning they had in the first place.

Not making this fight at Wembley Stadium has to be the dumbest decision I've ever seen in my life. This is THE Wembley Stadium fight. What are we doing, man?

Here is my opinion on what Jake Paul should do for his boxing career going forward: Considering that he plans to return to light sparring around July/August based on what his doctors say, I think he should spend the next 6 months or so cutting a lot of muscle. When he was training in the past few camps, he generally walked around at 220 pounds and cut to 200 during camp for a cruiserweight fight. In my opinion, that needs to stop. He's too heavy compared to how he used to be because of the heavyweight training camps. He should slowly cut muscle over the course of several months (so as not to drain himself) and eventually reach a point where his walk-around weight is around 205 pounds. He should then compete at cruiserweight and never go back up to heavyweight if he values his health and career. Light heavyweight is no longer practical as he's put on too much muscle over the past few years, but heavyweight is where he risks another jaw break and the end of his career. Many cruiserweights walk around 205 - 210 and only cut around 5-10 pounds of water weight to make the weight limit. In my opinion, Jake should do that. Fighting near your walk-around weight is more practical than cutting a ton of weight each camp and then rehydrating. Everyone knows it. Jake will be much faster and less lethargic if he does this. He'll be able to compete in 10-12 round fights without completely gassing out by the end like he did against Chavez Jr. He should start doing a lot of endurance training and work on his fundamentals (especially defense) over the course of the next several months. Moving forward, he should focus heavily on technique, speed, stamina, and defense while still maintaining a decent amount of aggression. This doesn't necessarily mean completely abandoning the Kronk style, but he should absolutely be more composed and fight more defensively responsible than he has over the past few years. He cannot afford to get hit on the face constantly anymore. Simultaneously, he shouldn't be gun shy (like Devin Haney) and should be active and somewhat aggressive still. Being too defensive is a recipe for constantly losing decisions. This might require a lot of meditation and breath work to set his mentality straight after that jaw break. The psychological hurdle might be the biggest one to overcome. Once he has done many technical spars (definitely shouldn't do any heavy spars this year) for a few months and confirmed his ability to take punches again, he should return to training camp around early November for a tune-up fight in late December. The tune-up should be an opponent who can test him technically but has virtually no knockout power. It should be a 10-round fight that acts as a confidence booster for him, and it should be a fight where Jake is the favorite and not the underdog. It makes no sense for him to take a high-risk fight against a power puncher (like Canelo or Ngannou) as his first fight back after two jaw surgeries, but the opponent shouldn't be someone he'll be able to knock out in under 3 rounds, either. That won't help him at all. Provided he looks good and confident in such a fight, he should immediately rematch Tommy Fury in the spring of 2027. Tommy is not a power puncher, so this makes sense. Following that, if he wins, he should fight a higher level cruiserweight power puncher in the late summer of 2027, such as Darren Till. His jaw will be as healed as it can possibly be by then, and he needs to test his confidence and durability against a knockout artist eventually. He can't fight non-power punchers forever. He should fight 2-3 times every single year from there on and slowly up the level of competition (maybe even do the Tommy Fury trilogy and the KSI fight as side quests for closure). He can't do a single MMA fight if he wants to become a boxing world champion. Taking 6-12 months out of boxing to do MMA when he only has a couple years of his athletic prime left is a horrendous idea if he wants to become a boxing world champion. He should stay on this boxing path for around 5-8 years before his body eventually starts to fail him, and then retire. If he can make world championship status in this duration, great. If he can't, at least he can say that he tried, and maybe he can win a regional belt or something.
