I didn't realize I would catch heat over this. Which was the offensive part of my proposal, Bible Trivia or interfaith fun? Or do Latter-day Saints despise both?
I would love to watch Latter-day Saint youth and adults face off with youth and adults from other Christians in a Bible knowledge challenge. Could be fun. What do you think?
Ex-Mormons on the Left hate the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Never-Mo Evangelicals on the Right hate the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
That's the way it is and always has been for as long as I can remember.
I think itβs pretty clear that the religious right hates The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints more than the Left does.
I wonder how far they want to take this thing against us.
Itβs making me reevaluate a whole lot of things.
I would love to watch Latter-day Saint youth and adults face off with youth and adults from other Christians in a Bible knowledge challenge. Could be fun. What do you think?
My Latter-day Saint husband and I are going to see @johnbcrist tonight, VIP seats. Should we dress casual like the evangelicals or go full suit and tie/Sunday best dress?
Watching Diary of a CEO's religious podcasts is always frustrating. Every "unanswered question" and perceived conflict is answered by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Maybe someone like @ThoughtfulSaint
should be on the show.

I'm taking my cradle-born Mormie husband to see @johnbcrist in Dunwoody, GA, on June 6th. I bought VIP tickets. If John doesn't dunk on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'll be disappointed.
My new ward is struggling to find its singing voice. Yet when the RS President asked how church can be more joyful, everyone responded by talking about the music and singing.
Wouldn't it be fun if the Church sponsored Saturday singing schools to learn hymn parts, followed by good old-fashioned hymn sings?
I was thinking about how much emphasis is put on Latter-day Saints reading the Bible, Book of Mormon, and D&C. Rightly so. But what if we all read the General Handbook as often? In my opinion, it can save hurt feelings.
In five years, new converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be saying, "We should extend Sunday to three hours so we have more time to discuss lessons." π
I'm beginning to realize that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is as much a part of QUILTING as it is genealogy and emergency preparedness. I'm finding out that big name quilters I have been following for years are members.
I was today years old when I learned that the famous U.S. Navy nuclear engineer Richard G. Scott, who worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, was a Latter-day Saint and served as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Mind blown.
