Did you also know it's one of the GREATEST hypnosis movies of all time!! I mean the entire plot is about brainwashing teens into buying the new thing with cat ear headphones.
You cannot get more hypnosis than that.

JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS (2001) got trapped by its own marketing. Sold as a lightweight teen movie for tweens, it was actually a sharp satire of consumerism, and pop music culture. A lot of the audience it was aimed at was too young to catch the joke.
