Actual adults in this country look at Israel, with its free press, independent judiciary, equal rights for all (including Arabs) and democratic elections. Then they look at the Iranian regime and they see a government run by clerics under a barbaric, medieval code, the execution, rape and torture of women and the execution of gays for being gay. And they decide: "Yup, I'm on the side of the Ayatollahs."

I deliver kids with special needs to school. Instead of spending billions on individual support plans just force lazy parents to get their kids to bed on time, feed them properly, make them exercise and get them off digital devices.

One thing the situation in Iran has made crystal clear is that whichever country, regime, group or political ideology, no matter how vile, disgusting or repressive, however many people are massacred or exterminated, as long as they are anti-West, specifically anti-US (and by extension anti-Israel), they will have the unquestioning support of the majority of the liberal left and the entertainment world. The same “progressive left” who happily live in the west, profit from its relative freedoms, yet turn their activism on and off like a switch, or in some cases, even make a living out of it. I work often work in neighbourhoods where most who live there don’t work. While I'm up and at it at 7.30, you won't see them before 11, unless they're on the school run, in their PJs, then in their 25 plate car on pip, then straight back to bed. Old slippers and pizza boxes are strewn about in the streets, weed hangs in the air,  little kids play in gardens full of rubbish and broken trampolines. They've all got dogs, they've all got phones and everything else. I'm 50 almost, and working since before I left school is taking its toll. On Wednesday Labour are going to fuck me, you and every other worker over again to pay for this shit show, raising other people's kids and feeding and housing an invading army of people that hate us and abuse our women. We're fools to put up with this, history will view us as idiots if we do.
