Powell's newly-created role will "oversee the integration of analytics, technology and innovation across all facets of Duke Men's Basketball, providing data-informed insights to support roster management, opponent preparation, talent evaluation and on-court strategy."
Duke has announced two new staff hires:
-KJ Conklin (from the G-League's Austin Spurs) as an assistant coach;
- Alexander Powell (from the Portland Trailblazers) as the program's first executive director of basketball.
Jon Scheyer continuing to tap into NBA coaching talent.
