How do you know your incident response works? You test it. On CypherTalk podcast, @isaacpatka explains how security war games simulate live incidents, stress-test monitoring systems, and expose weaknesses before attackers do.

The hardest attacks on Web3 don't break the code, they break the operations around it. That's the problem he works on. Stefan Beyer (@beyer_st) is Managing Director of @SecurityOak. He has spent 20 years in distributed systems research and has specialized in blockchain security since 2018, personally auditing hundreds of blockchain projects. When the threat model includes AI, quantum, and nation-state adversaries, you want someone who studies real attacks, not just theoretical ones. Join us in Berlin: luma.com/pb46re0a

He brings a rare combination: Web3 cybersecurity, empirical research on regulation, and entrepreneurship. Jan Philipp Fritsche (@JphFritsche) is co-founder of @bermudabayzk, the institutional privacy layer for the EVM, and Strategic Director of @SecurityOak, the Web3 cybersecurity firm behind 600 audits across the Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum, Cosmos, and many more. His earlier work tracked the implications of financial and economic policy for money markets, derivatives, and systemic risk, with a focus on financial infrastructure, as a researcher at the ECB, the European Parliament's Monetary Expert Panel, Deutsche Bank, the Bundesbank, and DIW Berlin. He also hosts MetaMarkets, a podcast exploring the interface of regulatory and technical matters in Europe. Join us in Berlin: luma.com/pb46re0a

An audit helps prevent incidents. A war game helps you survive them. On CypherTalk podcast, @isaacpatka explains why security isn't a one-time exercise and why preparation matters just as much as prevention.

Helping institutions and governments build on Ethereum is a specific kind of work, and it is what he does at the Ethereum Foundation. He'll be at the Institutional and Policy Forum in Berlin on 15 June. Mo Jalil (@motypes) is Head of Institutional Privacy at the @ethereumfndn, where he helps institutions and governments adopt Ethereum as public infrastructure. His background spans privacy, AI and capital markets. A former founder and Goldman Sachs alumnus, his focus is on decentralised technologies and their real-world adoption. He knows the institutional side from the inside, which is exactly what the work requires. Join us in Berlin: luma.com/pb46re0a

The person chairing the ESMA DLT Working Group will be at the Institutional and Policy Forum in Berlin on 15 June Stephan Mögelin is Lead Senior Officer at BaFin, supervising central securities depositories and central counterparties, and leading BaFin's DLT Pilot Regime team. As Chair of the ESMA DLT Working Group, he sits at the centre of how the EU is supervising distributed ledger technology in post-trade. For nearly a decade his work has tracked what DLT, blockchain and cloud actually mean for post-trade infrastructure, as a seconded national expert to the ECB's DG-MIP, through the CPMI-IOSCO work on tokenisation, and across the legislative files that now govern the space: the DLT Pilot Regime, MiCA, the German Electronic Securities Act. Few people have been closer to the regulation as it was written. Join us in Berlin: luma.com/pb46re0a

On June 15, the @EuEthInstitute and @SecurityOak present the only event where regulators, institutions, and builders meet for a full day: the Institutional and Policy Forum. The venue is Funkhaus Berlin (@nalepastrasse), one of the city's most striking spaces, built around some of the best-preserved mid-century acoustic architecture in Europe. The Institutional and Policy Forum takes place at the same location as the Ethereum Day, organised by the Ethereum Everywhere team and members of the local community. If you care about where European finance is heading and want to be in the room when the frameworks, risks, and opportunities get debated openly, this is your event.
