Depressing to see the animators' brilliant work on this movie smudged out. As a palate cleanser, here's a Madam Mim pencil test. Mim was animated by Milt Kahl and Frank Thomas.

I had been totally unaware of the atrocious job @Disney did with the anniversary release of The Sword in the Stone on Blu-ray. No doubt the artists who worked on the movie would have been horrified.

Note: Although it looks very similar, this is not technically "AI upscaling" as we understand it nowadays. It is instead a typical case of digital noise reduction (DNR) gone awry. More info here: blu-ray.com/movies/The-Sword…

Also Note: The version currently streaming on Disney looks good. No DNR shenanigans there. (thanks @pastaice13)

The new asset store from @EpicGames has launched and they removed Q&A and Reviews. That's the first appallingly poor decision I've seen Epic take in a very long while. In the real world people need to gage the professionalism and reactivity of a seller. It's primordial.

The alternative would be to create a corresponding Epic sub-forum for each asset so people can publicly post about issues/questions. Again, Q&A and Reviews were the most crucial point in the decision making of buying an asset. Removing those with no replacement makes no sense.

One of the key elements of good character design is that you should be able to recognize them by their silhouette. George Lucas is a well designed character.
