Often get asked to help someone’s friend/relative find a job. Usually the person in question has an issue. The last one was R500k in debt, was blacklisted and being chased by debt collectors. Not sure what I can do.

Be careful of taking any notice of someone who claims they can write a CV that can ‘beat the ATS. They are either scamming you or don’t know what they are doing.
