Naszym priorytetem jest realizowanie inwestycji, które doprowadzą do całkowitej dekarbonizacji wytwarzania ciepła systemowego. I to się już dzieje w wielu polskich miastach, gdzie mamy swoje elektrociepłownie. W Gdańsku postawiliśmy na innowacyjność. Półtora roku temu oddaliśmy tutaj do eksploatacji kotłownię z pierwszymi w Polsce kotłami elektrodowymi zasilanymi energią elektryczną. To pierwsze takie rozwiązanie w Polsce. Przed nami drugi etap transformacji EC Gdańsk: budowa wielkoskalowych pomp ciepła i akumulatora ciepła, który zoptymalizuje pracę odnawialnych źródeł - mówi Prezes #PGE Wojciech Dąbrowski.

There is a huge potential to replace fossil gas in buildings with waste heat!
Here in Brussels for example we could use heat from: the metro, datacentres, waste water treatment, and food retail.

As we phase-out fossil gas, cities will turn to locally available #cleanheat sources
#Districtheating systems can be a great way to deliver this heat to buildings. But, requires coordination and large infrastructure investments.
How to make this happen?
