Yes! The workplace mirrors society at large and that’s why it’s a great place to start cultivating the inclusive culture in the workplace that we want to experience in greater society. It’s all interconnected.

The dynamic that plays out in the workplace (not just tech) often mirrors the social dynamics of society at large. And if your leadership isn’t diverse OR have a meaningful relationship with diverse communities (read: break bread with them regularly), it’s unlikely to be a focus
