The Coroner’s report into the 2019 death of OCdt Olivia Perks is shocking enough but while the Chain of Command has issued cold statements of regret, nothing from @Proud_Sappers her intended Corps. Did Olivia attest as a Sapper before joining Sandhurst?

Who the feck are the parents who in our crisis of plastic pollutants, are deluding their children that messages via balloon reach deceased loved ones? 😠
Picked up in one of my sheep fields today. They can kill livestock and wildlife, apart from being ugly litter.FFS 😤

This is where ‘liking’ a tweet can be so misleading. I assume @AngelaTilby that you like @giles_fraser drawing our attention to this perceived threat to the parish rather than liking the proposals to close churches or would fewer parishes needing fewer churches be a good thing?

This is GS 2222. The Church of England’s Mission in Revision paper. It explains that over the next 2-5 years they expect Dioceses to close something like 350 churches. #savetheparish

HM Queen just referred to the kindness of strangers and quoted Good Samaritan. Just witnessed group from Wickambreaux handing out provisions to lorry drivers waiting in lay-by on A2. Said they collected around village. For non locals their village is several miles from A2.
