Earlier today I had the pleasure to attend the ground breaking of a new housing development project in the City of Muskegon Heights. This project has been a long time coming, and I am excited to see the domino effect this project will have in the community!
Today I had the honor of accepting an appreciation award from the American Legion for my leadership on SB 783, SB 1084, and my continued support to veterans and veterans groups in Michigan.
Yesterday I had the honor to attend and speak at the LST Scout Salute event for 9/11.

Happy Labor Day!
This morning I attended the Newaygo Firefighters pancake breakfast. It was great to catch up with many friends and help show my support for our amazing first responders.
Yesterday I had the honor to host and introduce Tara Oomen, the 2021 Asparagus Queen to the Michigan Senate. Tara in her roll as queen has been a strong promoter of asparagus and agriculture in Oceana County.
Overlooked and let down.
