I've always been a believer in transparent government, both as your State Senator and as a private citizen.
As I prepare to leave the Senate, I'm happy to announce I'll be returning the vast majority of my annual office budget - nearly $48,000 - to the good people of Wisconsin.

It's only right that these unused funds go back to the state to be used elsewhere, and lessen the burden on hardworking taxpayers across Northeast Wisconsin.
Fiscal responsibility is the hallmark of a transparent government, one that is worthy to work for our state.
