"We should not be giving Black people the same vaccine schedule that's given to Whites, because their immune system is better than ours." ---RFK Jr. So what vaccine schedule should I have received? His answer was dangerous. I will be voting no.

I was proud to meet Maryland’s Congressional Award recipients. Their commitment to service, personal growth, fitness, and exploration is inspiring. These young leaders give me hope for our future, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.

What happened outside John Rodgers Elementary/Middle School during a preschool graduation was cruel and deeply disturbing. Schools are meant to be safe havens where children can learn and grow without fear. Maryland must be a place where families feel safe sending their children to school.

Proud to join Team Maryland in delivering $1.5 million in federal funding for the Latin American Youth Center in Prince George’s County to continue to serve young people through programs in the arts, academics, job readiness, housing, and health and wellness. As County Executive, I helped secure $15 million for this project. Together, we’re investing in our youth, families, and future.

Can't deny the data. This President's economy is failing.

Proud to join @ChrisVanHollen, @RepGlennIvey, and local leaders to celebrate $3.15 million in federal funding for Attick Towers. This investment will modernize affordable housing for seniors and residents with disabilities, helping ensure they can live with dignity, safety, and comfort for years to come.

4.2% inflation. The highest in three years. At some point, Republicans have to stop rubber-stamping every expensive priority and start focusing on lowering costs.
JUST IN: US inflation jumped to 4.2% (y/y) in May —>the highest in 3 years and up from 2.4% in February before the war in Iran. Higher gas and energy prices drove 60% of the gain. Shelter and food (especially restaurants) also contributed. The monthly increase was 0.5%. Core inflation (excluding food and energy) was 2.9% —>highest since September

Rising fuel costs are causing the price of crabs to spike. And in Maryland, we really don’t like it when you mess with crabs. This Administration seems to have unlimited money for slush funds, ballrooms, and wars with no end in sight — but no plan to lower costs for the people footing the bill.

Yesterday was day 100 of the war in Iran. Families are still feeling squeezed by rising costs. Gas prices are still skyrocketing. Yet Republicans keep spending billions while offering no explanation for where this is headed or how it ends.

I’m thrilled that @SenJoniErnst, @SenatorHick, @SenKevinCramer and @Sen_Alsobrooks have signed onto our bipartisan bill to cap the monthly cost of insulin at $35. There’s real momentum behind this commonsense plan that Americans overwhelmingly support–let's get it done.

Maryland is home to some of the world's leading public health and research institutions. Watching this administration dismantle agencies, slash research funding, and undermine science is heartbreaking and dangerous.

Met with @TerpsWBB Coach Brenda Frese to discuss the rapidly changing landscape of college athletics. As NIL, revenue sharing, and athlete protections evolve, we need policies that support student-athletes, protect their rights, and strengthen college sports for the future.

Hardworking Americans are tightening their budgets. Republicans aren't. They voted to give another $70 billion to ICE with no serious reforms and no plan to lower costs. When it comes to their priorities, Republicans put the American people last time and time again.

Republicans want billions of dollars for ICE funding, slush funds, and billionaire giveaways. When it comes to lowering health care costs or helping families afford groceries, suddenly there's nothing left. That's the choice they're making.

Americans are struggling to afford groceries, gas, housing, and health care. Republicans have a choice: fight for working families or keep protecting Trump’s slush fund, tax fraud, and costly political agenda. Today, we will put them on the record and see who they truly represent.

Making health care more affordable is a real possibility. We do it by not cutting $800 billion dollars of funding for Medicaid. That would be a start.

President Trump’s war in Iran raised gasoline costs above $4 per gallon in every single state. We need transportation policies that help Americans, not Trump's Big Oil donors. We need affordable, reliable, and safe transportation choices. x.com/i/broadcasts/1pJdRRypl…
