Our cataloguer working on the library of the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulchre gets to see some amazing marbled endpapers – like these! The first is from CHS 325 (1769). The second is from CHS 339 (1765) – but we think that the marbled endpapers could from much later in the 1800s
